Paint it black. Just kidding… Paint it white! Repainting is one of the cheaper do it yourself jobs that you can do and add  value to your home.

Charge ‘em.  Batteries of course! Buy rechargeable batteries to keep in the remotes or other small appliances in your home. They usually aren’t much more than a regular battery (cheaper if you fine them on sale) and they last a LOT longer than a typical battery.

Decorating tips. There are plenty of inexpensive decorating tips to help spruce up a room. Try a new tablecloth for the kitchen table, or refinish a piece of furniture. You’ll be amazed at how big a difference it makes to the room, and how little it impacts your wallet.
